The Training Support of the GoOnline programme expands
The Training Support of the GoOnline programme expands. Until recently, it was SMEs that were approved to the GoOnline programme that could only receive training support.
All SMEs can now receive training support visits without having to apply first for the financial support of the GoOnline programme, provided theyfulfil certain prerequisites. The official information portal of the GoOnline programme "http://www.goonline.gr" provides more information on the participation criteria. SMEs interested to receive training support may fill in and submit the online application form. Training Support of the GoOnline programme aspires to acquaint until 2005, 50,000 SMEs from the entire country with the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and help them to come in terms with the contemporary market trends which increasingly lead towards e-business practices. A package of consulting and support services are offered to the eligible SMEs mainly comprising of:
___________ The Training Support of the GoOnline programme belongs to the 8th Axis and Measure 8.2.5 of the Operational Programme "Competitiveness" of the Ministry of Development supported by the 3rd Community Support Framework and funded by EU funds. The Training Support aspires to acquaint until 2005, 50,000 SMEs from the entire Greece with the new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and help them to come in terms with the contemporary market trends which increasingly lead towards e-business practices. The Training Support has been assigned to 17 Consortia throughout Greece consisting of academic and technological institutions, industry and Chambers of commerce, private companies etc., allocated in the 13 districts of the country.
