The Training Support of
GoOnline aims to acquaint 50.000 Greek SMEs with the new technologies and e-business practices. Training Support plays an integral role within the wider framework of the GoOnline programme. It has been assigned to 17 Consortia throughout Greece consisting of academic and technological institutions, industry and Chambers of commerce, private companies etc., allocated in the 13 districts of the country.
Training Support includes:
- a central call centre (801 11 46638) and 16 regional ones
- 3 x 7 hours visits by a trained e-business consultant
- provision of informational and multimedia educational material
- online support through a web based portal
The Training Support has recently been expanded to include more SMEs. All SMEs can now receive training support visits without having to apply first for the
Financial Support which is restricted to specific categories, provided they comply with the criteria below:
- They must be receiving educational support for the first time i.e. they have not participated to the GoOnline programme before.
- They must already have a PC and Internet access.
